Students Seek “Alternatives” to University of Florida and Florida State Schools
With more and more colleges and universities trying to cope with the effects of the baby boomer’s children on enrollment, students are seeking alternatives in Florida to attending the University of Florida and Florida State University. The Miami Herald reports that Florida’s college bound students are attending “alternate” schools like Central Florida University and “communter schools” like Florida International University.
